HI Darryl; I just had a rattle, more like a buzz.
I thought it was coming out of the motor at first, but after checking around I found out it was the armored hydraulic hose coming from the front brake lever. The wire coiled around the hose was contacting the headlight and vibrating. I'm sure you know what you are doing, but check the cables and hoses around the headlight anyway, could be something real simple. Frank
